After 9 days of exciting matches (from September 19 to 27), the 2024 National Table Tennis Club Championship officially concluded on the afternoon of September 27, 2024, at the Le Trung Kien Sports Arena in Tuy Hoa City. The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to athletes with outstanding performances.

The Organizing Committee Presents Awards to Athletes With Outstanding Performances

In the individual events, the Organizing Committee awarded 16 sets of medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze) to outstanding athletes. In the team and doubles events, 28 sets of medals were awarded.

The 2024 National Table Tennis Club Championship was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen Province in coordination with the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation and the Department of Physical Training and Sports. The tournament brought together 500 players from 25 of the top table tennis clubs nationwide to compete.

Athletes competed in various events, including: Men's singles, Women's singles, Men's doubles, Women's doubles, Mixed doubles, Men's team, Women's team (with no age restriction); Men's team (ages 50 and above); Women's team (ages 45 and above); Men's doubles, Women's doubles, Men's singles, Women's singles, and Mixed doubles in the age groups 40–69 and 70+.

The Athletes Are Competing

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu, President of the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation, stated: The 2024 National Table Tennis Club Championship attracted many outstanding athletes from across the country. Over the days of competition, there were many exciting, high-quality matches with strong technical skills, drawing large crowds of spectators. This event also serves as an opportunity for the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation to discover new talents for training and development, preparing them to compete in regional and international tournaments.

Leaders of the Phu Yen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shared: This is the first time that Phu Yen Province has hosted a national-level table tennis tournament. The event gave Phu Yen players the chance to exchange and learn from excellent athletes, while local fans enjoyed high-level matches. It contributed to the development of table tennis in the province. At the same time, it was also an opportunity to promote the image, culture, and people of Phu Yen to friends across the country and to boost tourism development.
